To create a valley set: 1. From the Truss Placement menu, select Valley Set or click
![]() An example of the Single 45 bevel option is shown below. • In 2D view, the bevel cut of the valley trusses does not parallel the roof ridge line because the roof pitch is 4/12 and the valley bevel angle is 45 degree or 12/12 pitch. • In elevation view, the bevel cut for valley trusses does not parallel the top chord of the trusses below and the 45 bevel angle of the valley truss can be clearly seen.
You remain in truss input mode after trusses are added to the layout and can continue adding trusses, until you manually exit the command. Press Esc or right-click and select Cancel to exit. Additional Placement Options
